The Opportunity:

The TPM  will be working with their development teammates to create workflow products that are stable, scalable, and high-performing. As the TPM, you work to understand the product requirements of the platform, collaborating with product managers and developer leads. You should have a passion for finding defects through the development of thoughtful test strategies and procedures and that ensure maximum test coverage for all

functionality. Your intuition for where to look for defects manually is an important asset to the team. You should enjoy designing the test strategy, including some web-based applications as well as backend test strategies. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Technically strong engage with engineering in technical discussions with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and DevOps Engineers facilitating/driving issue resolution and removing cross-functional impediments to keep the team focused on delivery. 
  • Drive all aspects of the Scrum Master role (facilitate Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Scrum Meetings, etc) and IT Project Management, including collaboration and coordination across multiple IT and business segments. 
  • Motivates delivery team members, drives precision and quality into deliveries, implements improvement measures. 
  • Orchestrates launches that comprise project deliverables as well as production issue fixes that may occur outside regular business hours. 
  • Leads delivery teams during post-launch phases for expedited issue resolution. 
  • Actively maps, studies, and addresses risks and issues by elaborating a mitigation/response plan while proactively tracking its execution. 
  • Create and deliver professional presentations on project kick-offs, phase gates, status reports, etc. 
  • Familiarity with CD/CI pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Semaphore, source control tools like Github would be preferred. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to grasp complex business functionality from the US Product Team and work with the distributed development team to implement and problem solve during sprints.

    Who You Are:
     
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of management experience in the IT field.
  • Candidates with previous development experience are preferred. 
  • Experience with AWS Cloud would be nice to have.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Substantial / Proven experience developing software: hands-on experience with software development and ability to engage in highly technical discussions with developers, product owners, DevOps engineers.
  • Experience working on globally distributed teams. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English). 
  • Scrum or PMP certification is preferred.
